Spicezy began with a simple conviction: the spices most Indians cook with every day deserve to be the best in the world — not the cheapest, not the most convenient, but the best.
What started as a family trip changed everything.
During a visit to the cardamom estates of Idukki, we were handed spices straight off the vine. The scent was nothing like anything we had bought from a supermarket shelf — brighter, warmer, more alive.
We asked the farmer where this went. “To a middleman,” he said. “Then maybe to a blending facility. Then to a shelf, two years later.”
That answer bothered us enough to start Spicezy. The premise was simple: what if the spice that left a farm in Wayanad was the same spice that landed in your kadai — with as little time, handling, and interference in between as possible?
